I made this piece in the middle of the California Fires over the summer. While making this I was thinking about the loved ones that were lost in the fires and COVID (as a worker or patient).

This piece of art was created in quarantine, as an assignment from my art class. We were assigned to draw a tree that was outside of a window of where we worked. I choose a tree that was full and green with little blossoms, an image of what life…

I created this clock with 15 hours to represent my 15 years of life. Underneath each number, there is a picture and a brief description of an event that happened at that age.

Without the structure of in-person school to keep me in check, I often end up waking up five minutes before classes to wrap myself in a blanket and doze off at my desk. This picture represents quarantine mornings.
